The student chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society, delivers resources that advance computing as a science and a profession, was started in NIT Calicut on September 21, 2012. NIT Calicut ACM Student chapter works closely with the Computer Science and Engineering Association, NIT Calicut in conducting technical talks, workshops, courses and programming contests.
