Established in 2003 as part of the "Centre for Speech and Natural Language Processing" project, this lab aims to foster research in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Natural Language Processing, Knowledge-Based Systems, and Information Retrieval. Located in the main building of the institute, just above the department office, the lab is currently used by Ph.D. and M.Tech. students of the department for their projects and research activities. It features advanced computing facilities and provides reliable wired and wireless Internet access.
